Patrick and I had been hoping to go hiking this summer, and we finally had a chance this past Saturday! We decided to go to Dragon’s Tooth with a few friends. Round trip, the trail is about 4.5 miles, and it’s more difficult than some of the other popular hikes in the area (e.g. the Cascades and McAfee’s Knob), but it’s my favorite because it’s interesting all the way up–not just when you get to the top. The weather didn’t allow a very clear view of the scenery, but I had never been to the tooth under such cloudy skies, so that just made the trip more unique!
